Grey Winfree was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 1st, 2006. Though originally from the Midwest, Grey has moved frequently throughout his life, shaping a diverse and layered perspective that influences his storytelling. Ever since the first grade, Grey had been interested in writing stories. Whether it be to express himself or experience escapism, he would always brainstorm and write. His favorite topics to write about is that of people and the human experience. He likes trying to keep topics small and personable to his audience to grasp and connect with his works. He is currently a freshman at Ringling College of Art and Design, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing. Grey’s mission is to create meaningful, thought-provoking art that connects with audiences across backgrounds—stories that don’t just entertain, but leave a lasting impression.
