Grey Winfree was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 1st, 2006. Though originally from the Midwest, Grey has moved frequently throughout his life, shaping a diverse and layered perspective that influences his storytelling. Ever since the first grade, Grey had been interested in telling stories. Whether it be to express himself or experience escapism, he would always brainstorm and write with his favorite topics being about people and the human experience. He likes trying to keep topics small and personable to his audience to grasp and connect with his works. He is currently a freshman at Ringling College of Art and Design, pursuing a degree in Creative Writing. Grey’s mission is to create meaningful, thought-provoking art that connects with audiences across backgrounds—stories that don’t just entertain, but leave a lasting impression.
